Friendly service, drinks, cakes and small dishes. All good. Corona prevention as it should be. Unfortunately, rarely during our vacation here in Bavaria.

On the main street of Treuchtlingen I saw a sign: "Eiscafe 50m ahead". After a few moments, my eyes fell on a cafe called Lebenskunst on the left side of the street (Marktgasse intersection), where a few people were sitting and ice cream sundaes were on the tables. Unfortunately, it was immediately apparent that you had to accept a lot of corona harassment in order to go out to eat. It was teeming with barriers, prohibition signs and one-way street regulations. I just wanted an ice cream to take away and walked into the restaurant with a mask and in accordance with the nonsensical one-way rules and asked about the types of ice cream, as these were not written on. I also received a friendly answer. When I said I would like 2 scoops to take away in the waffle, the tone of voice changed radically and I was suddenly thrown out with the rather impudent words "You have no business here". A simple and neutral "we only sell sundae" would have done the same. After leaving this inhospitable cafe, I noticed that the sign-posted ice cream parlor is a few meters further on the right-hand side of the main street and there I was served very friendly by the Italian ice cream seller.

It's good that there are such small cafes where people can work who cannot find a place everywhere in our fast-moving world. Service and cake were absolutely top!
